‘Evie’ has been retained as a future broodmare, and in the meantime has had a couple of educational outings to shows – holding her own in good company.

Delivered safely 2007 of a super, elegant bay filly foal by Wortley Fisher King – named Slades Corn Dolly. Foal has been sold and ‘Diva’ is currently loaned to a sports pony stud and is proud mum to a champagne colt born summer 2008.

March 2009 – Mum to a lovely chestnut colt by Cnapton Chipmonk. Very impressive boy with super presence and movement.

‘Archie’ remains unbeaten having won at Stafford County, East Anglian Native, Crowland, Market Bosworth and Bedford County. On his first solo outing at the National Foal Show he won his class, and was then awarded the Shetland Championship.

Mill of Towie Glen ‘Glen’ by Topic of Brindister out of Moselle of Grunivoe. Property of Dryfesdale Stud

We have on loan this 10 year old skewbald stallion from the Dryfesdale Stud. Three of our mares are in foal to him for Spring 2010 and we are very much looking forward to meeting the new progeny of Abbotsbury Raesa, Sapphire Mirage and Abbotsbury Easter Sundae. ‘Glen’ has the most fabulous temperament being a perfect gentleman with his mares and ourselves and is currently turnout with last years colt foal (and National Foal Show winner) Slades Easter Tide. He also competed at Equifest and Parklands Autumn show during 2009, taking an admirable three 2nd places.

Damson arrived with us fromScotlandin August 2008 and has already proved herself in yearling clases. 3rd place at Equifest  was followed by 2nd at the Three Shires Show and 1st and Reserve Youngstock Champion at Showlands. Moving indoors Damson took 2nd at Chiltern Shetland Show, 3rd at East Anglian Native Winter Show and ended the 2008 season with two 1st’s and a Rserve Championship at NPS Area 13, qualifying for both PUK and NPS Winter Champs. As a 2 year old in 2009 she came out for the second half of the season and produced a wonderful run of top placings. She started with a win at Crowland, then 1st and Youngstock Champion and Overall Champion at Showlands, 1st at Equifest, 1st and Youngstock Champion at Souldrop and 1st and Youngstock Champion at Three Shires.
